Starting from our Meeting Point, at the Mottolino base, we’ll use a bike shuttle to reach directly the Livigno Forcola Pass, where our Tour begins. We’ll face the first stretch with the Typical Alpine Lakes and the Always Marvelous View of the Perennial Bernina Glacier. After traveling along a recently-built single track, that allowed the connection between the Forcola and the Bernina Pass, we’ll reach the shores of Lake Bianco, famous for its hydroelectric resources, used by the Ancient Bernina Red Train, which, since July 2008, has become part of the Unesco World Heritage list. We’ll walk along a section of Lake Bianco, bewitched by its Crystalline Color. From one of its dams, we’ll keep going along a driveway, which will lead us to a Large Panoramic Terrace, from which you can admire the Palù Glacier in all its glory. After taking some pictures and resting a little, we’ll return to Lake Bianco, where a short and light uphill track will take us to the Bernina Pass. From here, we’ll retrace the same path up to Forcola Pass, where a Pleasant Break in the Mountain Shelter will give us all the energy we need to return to Livigno, by following the valley floor path.
